Swagelok Ammonia Sampler
Revolutionary design increases safety, improves speed and is more efficient

Advanced technology & optimization in outcomes
Ammonia is widely used by chemical plants and refineries in the production of fertilizers, plastics, textiles, petroleum and more. To avoid severe stress-corrosion cracking in storage tanks and concerns about product quality, anhydride ammonia is sampled to verify a water content of 0.2% to 0.5%.
This is traditionally done using methods such as CGA G2.2, in which a sample of 100 ml of liquid ammonia is dispensed and then allowed to evaporate. By measuring the remaining water, the water content of the sample can be easily calculated.

Increased safety
Glass fixture design allows samples to be dispensed without exposing the technician, while allowing visual confirmation of process steps.

Constant Results
With its single handle operation, valve operation is easy and minimizes the chance of making sampling errors in the process. The pre-cooled residue tube provides greater accuracy and prevents aggressive boiling of ammonia.

Speed in process
Faster access to results can mean that process adjustments are made faster, reducing the amount of out-of-specification products and corrosion damage, lowering overall costs.
