We operate in multiple markets including Oil, Gas & Chemical, Semiconductor and Clean Energy & General Markets. For our Customer Service team we are looking for a Customer Service Representative who combines technical affinity with commercial insight and gets energy from solving various customer questions and improving processes.

About the position

As a Customer Service Representative you are an important link between customer, sales, operations and technical specialists. You support customers with technical and commercial issues, monitor the progress of orders and ensure clear communication throughout the process.

You go beyond standard order processing: you analyze customer questions, think of solutions and know how to find the right balance between customer interests, quality and internal processes. You identify opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to the optimization of daily operations.

Your core tasks

  • Translating written and telephone customer questions into appropriate quotations, orders or solutions.
  • Analyzing unclear customer questions and advising on possible alternatives or next steps.
  • Coordinate with operations, sales and technical specialists on progress, deliveries and customer solutions.
  • Monitoring delivery times, identifying bottlenecks and proactively communicating with customers.
  • Support in after-sales and complaint handling, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • You have regular telephone contact with customers, easily interact with different interlocutors and communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and transfer these to the sales team.
  • Identify areas for improvement in processes and contribute to practical optimizations.
  • Recording and following up customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Providing temporary support in the coordination of the daily customer service activities in case of busyness or absence of the Customer Service Manager.

Your profile

  • MBO 4 working and thinking level with relevant experience, or a college starter with strong analytical and commercial insight.
  • Affinity with technology and willingness to further build product and system knowledge.
  • Experience in a technical-commercial or customer-oriented environment is an advantage.
  • You can analyze customer questions and independently arrive at appropriate solutions.
  • You have regular telephone contact with customers, easily interact with different interlocutors and communicate clearly and professionally.
  • You work accurately, structured and keep an overview, even under pressure.
  • You are independent, but actively seek cooperation with colleagues and other departments.
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English, both oral and written.
