The Swagelok grab sample liquid (GSL) is a liquid sampling system for taking liquid in a non-pressurized bottle with a self-closing septum cap in applications where the process liquid is not at risk of fractionation when stored at atmospheric pressure.

Switching Valves

Our Grab Sample Modules use a 40G series ball valve as a switching valve, available in 2 or 3 valve configurations, enabling fluid routing control, simplifying sampling sequences, and reducing errors with clear operator indications. It is standard on GSM and fixed volume GSL panels.

In stainless steels, chromium and nickel are critical for corrosion resistance and ductility. Not all bar stock is the same. Swagelok 316/316L stainless steel tube fittings and instrumentation valves contain more nickel and chromium than minimally required by ASTM standards for bars and forgings.
